Hey there! I'm STEPH, and I'm excited to share the story behind Mystic Mermaid. It's a tale of family, unexpected twists, and the magic of New Orleans – a city that's as much a part of our story as we are.

Growing up, my cousin BEE and I were inseparable. We shared childhood adventures, big dreams, and an unbreakable bond. But as life often does, it took us in different directions, and we drifted apart for over 20 years. Then, in 2022, Bee called me with an idea that would change everything: a spontaneous trip to New Orleans, our favorite city.

That trip wasn’t just a reunion; it was a revelation. New Orleans swept us up in its energy, its magic, and its deep sense of renewal. The city brought us closer than ever, and it quickly became the place we knew we belonged.

Not long after, my life took an unexpected turn when a medical emergency left me feeling adrift. Bee was my anchor, rushing me to the hospital and supporting me through every step of my recovery. That journey of healing forced me to reexamine my life. I realized it was time to let go of the corporate world and pursue something meaningful – something that could help others find the same renewal I had experienced.

That’s how Mystic Mermaid was born. Bee and I dreamed of creating a sanctuary that would nourish the spirit, mind, and body. Inspired by our own story and the soul of New Orleans, we built a space where every detail is designed to guide others toward transformation.
